Prior to co founding American Real Estate Partners, Brian katz first worked of the Evans Company, a regional development firm, where he was responsible for marketing and leasing the company’s 2.5 million square foot office portfolio, as well as their 1,500 acre land portfolio. Brian L Katz later joined Cushman and Wakefield’s, where as a Senior Director he helped to develop the firm’s corporate and institutional ownership practices. While with CandW, Brian L Katz was one of the top brokers in the Washington region, leasing and selling over fifteen million square feet of space. Brian L Katz earned a Masters degree in Real estate from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
